In the morning I'll be doing my school homework and in the afternoon we'll be at a surprise cake party for a friend. (It's a surprise party with cakes, not a surprise cake at an otherwise normal party)

We got one of these big electric fireplace units for Christmas. We started to put it together, but had a wrong part. They delivered it and I'm hoping to get it assembled tomorrow. Then some house cleaning; fix the scratching thing I made for the in-laws cat... ..maybe even go to the office for a bit to do some work...

Best laid plans.. (is laid spelled right)

Wifey had an all day scrap-booking thing, so I went to work for a couple of hours instead; then walked around some stores.

Today I am doing my tax return. Been saying that for the past fortnight.

If all goes well (like I get out of bed at a sensible time despite working late night shifts), I intend to go for a nice long walk trying a couple of different paths to some old locations.

Tomorrow I'm going to meet with the practice and IT managers at our Medical Centre to discuss the set up of a Patient Representative Group I yupped myself into being the Chairman 'cos they probably want to set up a forum but I'm getting involved with a support group for something else that's run out of the practice so I thought it'd probably be a good exercise in 'joining up' and awareness-raising... Trouble is I sound like I'm back at work

Tomorrow I'm going into work to see my boss to tell him I'm not coming back. Oh sorry wrong dream. I'm not coming back till next Saturday is what I mean. My bad start to the year and all that..

Then I'm going to cut the old exhaust off the Tina and see about fitting the new one, the new thermostat should arrive as well so by Friday I might stick the doors back on and go for a little drive.

(if you don't know, and why should you) I treated myself to a 1968 Mk2 series 1 Ford Cortina 1600E as my Christmas prezzie.
