Have a good holiday Penfold, we are looking forward to seeing your photos.

PS. Our library does musical evenings, jazz groups and so on, and they do serve drinks. It's a long way from when we used to creep around quiet as a mouse or get told off as kids.

Tomorrow, I'm off to Dorset for a long weekend with The Mother.

It's her 84th on Saturday.

She doesn't acknowledge birthdays anymore (neither do I, come to that!).

And coz we don't have transport anymore, it will be difficult to take her out for lunch. Not that she'd want to go, mind.
