Thank you all, it certainly surprised me. Although I'm blowing my own trumpet here,this was only my first season with the senior/advanced photographers, some of whom have been taking photos most of their lives and I will have been doing photography for just three years come April.

I feel I've really achieved something a bit special and much of it is down to you guys with your input and helping me select what pics to enter. So a BIG THANK YOU to everyone here! :D

We just held our final print merit competition tonight. No prizes for this one, I'm afraid but my scores weren't too bad either. :D

Thanks all. I have just applied for a photographic job going into Worthing Hospital Maternity Ward and taking photos of newborn babies with there mummies (and daddies, presumably). It's only part time but one that will fit in with the hours I do in the casino. Hopefully I will get it and be able to take the first steps towards turning professional later this year, giving up the casino entirely. :handgestures-fingerscrossed: :D
