Just finished off the takeaway from yesterday,so i had two days of kipfilet pindasaus met bami goreng or nr. 92 on the menu of Wok theater(can't help having a quick flashback to a certain episode of South Park sometimes i order from them ).
Also known as sate ajam bakmi(bakmi=think noodles only thicker,chinese/indonesian in origin),which in english would be something like chicken fillet with peanutsauce and fried noodles(this also having small bits of ham and some chopped veggies in there,the veggiebits usually end up on the side of the plate somehow.... ).
Accompanied by some kroepoek(krupuk) and a nice beaker of milk it went down swimmingly.

An afghan dish of fried rice, spinach and okra. I don't like okra much, but it was really good. Don't know what it's called, though.

MrE and I just picked fresh veggies from the garden today for our dinner. Avocado-pesto spaghetti, mixed lettuce salad with toppings and balsamic viniagrette and toasted garlic french bread. *burp* scuze me

Pan roasted yellow squash and eggplant from the garden baked with Andouille sausage, roasted garlic tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. We called it ratatouille. Next time I would use a different cheese.

It wasn't avo's rolled in coconut powder,if that's what it sounds like.
Ate an avo then cracked open a coconut and ate that.
Does that sound any better?

Chicken shwarma sandwiches with hummus and baba ghannouj (eggplant dip) on the side. First time trying the shwarma homemade! Turned out good, but tasted more like an Indian dish than an Arabic one. The hummus and baba ghannouj I've done before, they're pretty quick and hard to mess up.
