I like soup in plastic tubs, I just do. The last two times I went to the supermarket (two different ones), I found a soup that was 13 days out of date, then one that was 19 days out of date! :shock: Disgusting! And no bloody soup!!
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Last night we had schnitzel with mashed potato and salad,

Tonight we're having gulasch with spaetzle (I hope) and red cabbage! Nothing like moms home cookin'. :dance:

Change of plan;
We have fish, so we're going to have that instead. I would have liked the above, but no big deal. (and when I say that, I'm lying :cry: )

It's looking like we'll have leftovers. It doesn't have to be leftovers, it could be dinner out somewhere. The girls are spending the night with their aunt, which means it could just be the two of us going out. But nooooo. He wants to stay home. I have a gift card to a fancy restaurant and everything. But, no big deal. (And when I say that, I'm lying too.) :roll:

One slice of ham and some plain boiled rice. Sigh!

Stomach still not good with proper food after Monday's bug/virus/yuckiness (whatever it was). Tried to go back to normal eating on Wednesday only to find everything started up again overnight. :shock: Taking it more carefully this time... :roll:

Sorry about your bug Toothy! Had the same thing going around here - where you think you're past it, then it hits you again. Not fun!

Well, made hubby go out to dinner anyway. He acted miserable about it at first, but I got him to turn it around. Had a heavenly seafood gumbo with saffron rice pilaf and cornbread, started with a walnut pear salad and the best rolls in the universe. I'm so full I could burst! Two glasses of wine too, which for me is officially tipsy. :oops:

That meal sounds heavenly, Catch-up. If only I dare!

I've been tentatively trying butternut squash and sweet potato soup today... fingers (and probably other things if I'm being wise!) crossed. I had to pass (pun not originally intended, but... oops, there's another) the opportunity to have some yummy sushi yesterday which was tough. :(

Garlic and herb roasted chicken, which I cooked last night, with a green salad. Got loads left so this will keep me going for a while :)
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..
