Its FRIDAY NIGHT!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Friday night is always "catch as can" so we had yummy hot dogs down the street while out at the shops. Then went up to the supermarket to get some junk food in for a night in front of TV. (Its "relax" night here) Well.... thing is... we actually like nice food. So "junk food" consisted of a packet of chips, some popcorn to be madeup and two huge fresh salads. Greek and Caesar.  I was passing through the dairy aisle when the chicky babe was marking down specials so I got a gorgeous round of Brie cheese down from $8 to $1.50 (Yay) and some fresh liver pate from $6 to $1.50. A loaf of fresh french bread and we stuffed ourselves. Nom nom nom. Still heaps of salad and pate and brie left.

The chips and popcorn can wait til tomorrow. :D

I love cous cous. But I put bacon and zuchinni and onion and tomatoes and spices in it. mmmmmm

Chicken Vindaloo. (Open can, pour on dish, put into microwave) Didn't cook it myself.

We're going to put pork chops, salmon and corn on the grill later.

You missed out the small burnt crunchy bits; otherwise it's all the major food groups. ;)

Home made hamburgers.
We put curry ketchup, arugula/ rocket/ roquette, parmegianno and tomatoes on it (+ in my case some mayonnaise) and use "real" bread rolls for them (i.e. not the fluffy buns usually found in any burger restaurant).

We're just about to have "Herbed Pork with Brie and Apples"; except that we are using chicken instead. It looks pretty good, but it said use 1tbsp of "fresh" thyme and wifey put in a tbsp of dried stuff. :?
There are sweet potatoes made some "special" way, and steamed (not puck mind you :)) beans. :D

Strawberries

lots and lots

I never get used to it being strawberry season in late march/april here. Strawberries are for june, but by then it is impossible to find any here in spain so I need to eat as many as I can now, while it lasts. ;)

We had steak and corn on the cob on the grill with potatoes last night. Yum! Although, after eating steak and corn, I was too full to have any potatoes.
