What did you have for dinner today?

Just to clarify, dinner is "lunch"; right? I know many people thinks it's supper, but it is lunch. It took me a long time to get used to that, when I moved from Ottawa to Halifax. "Dinner" is lunch for people in these parts.

Anyway, I had training all day (and tomorrow). The hotel served sandwiches and a beef veggie soup. Both were quite good! :)

I'm confused now, thanks Conforumist .

Lunch: A slice of bread (you know, the kind of bread eaten in Germany) with salami and a joghurt following up.

Supper: My gf's special Nudelpfanne. Penne with a sour cream and tomato sauce, garlic, some chili powder, mini cabanossi, diced bell pepper and corn.

Not necessarily Conforumist, I think we've had the argument somewhere else on here but dinner gets used to mean both food in the middle of the day or food in the evening

In Manc we have dinner and tea.

So, I had curry for my tea last night.

Some of you have a very inventive menu - tonight I'm having baked potato with cottage cheese!
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

That sounds all very delicious, Thunderkat and Dotsie!

I'll have bread with salami or chicken breast and tomatoes and mayonnaise, some cheese and soem other stuff like that tonight.

Depends on the vegetables. :?

But I admit that it can be yummy.

Even though I'm a bit suspicious of all soups.
