Arrrrrrrgh.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

Awww...bless...he's getting a nice big kiss...
Few more 'bugs' of the winged variety :
Black-tailed skimmer(Orthetrum cancellatum).
Image
Egglaying Emperor(Anax imperator). :
Image
Headshot of a Four-spotted Chaser(Libellula quadrimaculata).
Image
Green-eyed(/Norfolk) Hawker(Aeshna isoceles).
Image
What's this, two different bugs competing for the same leaf?
Image
Nope just the one Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) sitting opposite it's own shed skin. :)
Image
Might be upgrading my body soon!

(And yes i'm (sadly! :D ) talking about a camerabody of course. :P )

Excellent pics Mycroft. :D What body are you thinking of buying? (I'm trying to save for the Canon 5D mkIII, myself.)

Bit less ambitious here sadly :P ,i'm hoping to go from the NIKON D-90 to the D7100. ;)
It's still not a sure thing either,it might have to be postponed for a few months,i'm hoping for sooner though.
May you get yours soon as well.
In the meantime i'm stuck with this old thing... :| ;)
