Looks like a Milkweed caterpillar, but I could be wrong (thats Monarch Butterfly for some).

Like the pictures, not seen many caterpillars or even butterflies this year, its been far too wet. Got woodlice by the millions and there invading the workshop via the roof...

The girls would be thrilled to find a milkweed caterpillar! We keep saying we're going to find some to transplant in our yard in hopes of getting one. This caterpillar turns into an Anise Swallowtail butterfly.
