No problems with the scorpion but the spider would have had me freaking out. You are to be congratulated for being able to keep your hands steady enough to take pictures! :D (Let alone being able to get close enough! :lol: )

Luckily it was very calm. If it had been all wiggly, that might have been a problem. Plus, the girls loved it and I was trying not to look like a chicken in front of them. :oops: :lol: It was harder holding my breath because it "doesn't like to be breathed on". :shock:

My instinct when handed a giant spider would be to scream, flick it to the floor, scream, jumped up and down on it, scream, jump up and down on it some more, scream, hit the guy who gave it to me in the face, scream, run around screaming, take a breath, and abuse the living hell out of the person who handed it to me kids or no kids.

They would never let me back.

And I wouldn't be sorry.
