My lad heard that at school and probably played it 89 million times himself alone :confusion-helpsign:

I watched the "RUSH" documentary again last night. Even though it ended late, I could not pull myself away.

If you only watch one YouTube movie today featuring dancing country farmer's daughters contortionists singing about potato salad, it should be this one.

Starts a little slow, then all hell breaks loose around 1:15

Oh thats my FAVOURITE dancing country farmer's daughters contortionists singing about potato salad clip EVER!

Its a little known fact that at age 11 I could do all that. However... my mother banned my from doing it. It made her throw up. Which is WHY I did it. Because Mum was the sort of country woman who could sit down calmly and get a cotton and thread out of the sewing box and sew your arm back on if it accidently came off.... but she had no passion for contortionism.

Me: "Morning Mum!" I would say peaking out of my ankles and sliding off the bed and standing up in a snake like motion.

Mum: "Huuuuuuuuuuuuuurl!
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....

The full version of "The Plank" containing some classic visual gags from two masters (Eric Sykes and Tommy Cooper). :D

Thanks Penners! I watched the shorter version posted on YouTube and it still made me laugh out loud after all these years. Pure genius. :D

The Potato Salad one -  Del, I can totally understand why that made your mom's stomach turn. The T-Mobile one was disturbing. I can certainly understand the urge, but was that really worth ending up in jail for? And it was a shame to hear people cheering him on instead of being shocked.

They filmed the 1979 remake of The Plank down our street.

At about 6:23 you can see our old house which was situated right next door to the building merchants. That part was filmed Churchfied Road, Walton-on-Thames. In fact, in the preview window you can see our house the other side of the van.
