Do you cosplay? Have you cosplayed in the past? Got any other costumes to show off?

This thread is for sharing pictures of forum members in costumes, so if you want to show us a picture, just post it here. Doesn't matter if it's a manga cosplay or you in a gorilla suit or whatever.

Basically, I got this idea from Ponder who dropped by on deviantart and saw some photos of my Dr Who costume and wondered what Pooh would say to this :D I'm curious. ;)

Anyway, I might aswell start: I recently finished my Dr Who costume. Just because it's fun. (I'd find any excuse to slip into that costume
And cause I'm a helpless Doctor Who fanatic, just as much as I'm a helpless Discworld addict :)

No1 which I am most proudest of. Just finished it today.

Image

No2 just a snapshot in my room, trying to get the character right. It ended up in me goofing around in front of the camera.

Image

Actually, yes comment: You can see that the shirt isn't finished. Still have to finish drawing that bloody pattern on that bloody shirt and it's a pain in the a**, if I may say so. It looks okay with the jacket on though.

Image

This one's called "Well, now you're in trouble..."
Did it just to see if I could pull it off :D

Image

And another snapshot. I love that scene when he stares at the screwdriver like it's going to kill him and goes "ooh that's bad. That's extremely very not good." Tried to recreate it.
Yeah... and please ignore the mess on my desk

Image

Bowties are cool. :D

Image

And last but not least, "his dark side" which was inspired by the episode "Amy's Choice" with the Dream Lord. Having fun with low-key.

Zats all! There's some more here http://catnip94.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=scraps and here http://catnip94.deviantart.com/gallery/? if you wanna have a look. ;)

Your turn!! :P

Great pictures. I don't do costumes normally, last years Discworld convention was the first time I dressed in character and then only for the gala dinner. One of the joys of convention however is admiring the wonderful outfits that people have.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

This is the closest you'll get to seeing me in a costume. This was at Clarecraft in 2005 when I was a volunteer in the Borogravian Army.

Took me half a bottle of gel to glue it back like that. It just wouldn't do what I wanted it to

Cheery, I see you are using Photobucket to display your pics. Any chance you could resize them to a maximum of 640 wide please? I suspect some people will have to scoll sideways to see them otherwise.
