Welcome, Belphegor, Tristan and Beth. Image
Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

Ooh no Cheery, that sentence came out wrong as I was leaving the house to go to dinner. I meant it to read, "Cheery, I just posted links in the art thread." LOL Whoo, punctuation and little words mean a lot! :P

Old Fan - New to Discworld Forums

Postby Adamantia Fidget » Sun Aug 30, 2009 7:07 pm

Hi, folks. Real name's Diana. Met a wee Geordie man online in the mid-90s who was always on about Terry Pratchett, so I started looking to find something by him at the local US bookstores. Not so easy in those days! Finally found a copy of Small Gods. Was hooked by the end of the first page. (Wouldn't necessarily say I married my old lad for his Pratchett collection, but it didn't hurt.)

Ah bless him! Terry I mean - his middle name should be Cupid for all the couples he's brought together. :D
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

welcome to the forum Diana :D
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Any of you I might be meeting in Tempe later this week?
