No, no ...keep talking about the mountains and the water, please.

I love the sea. We used to sit and watch the tides come in.. 12hr tides, so our behinds were sore, but what a sight!
I've visited every mountain range in North America, but nothing in Europe (Ireland has glorified hills, not mountains), so please... go on!

I few years ago I went on a walking holiday in Slovenia in the Julian Alps - those mountains are just incredible. We were right on the border of Italy and Austria there and Slovenia was then (2002) pretty much unspoiled. :D

Just a quick note.

This thread is coming up to 100 pages and when it does so I'll close it down and start another one.

I don't think many of us are going to sit and read through 100 pages of people saying 'welcome'. :wink: But the thread will still be available if a search is done despite being closed. You just won't be able to add any more comments. :D
