What are you listening to?

Postby Tonyblack » Fri Sep 19, 2008 6:31 pm

Do you have music playing while you are on the Internet? If so what?

I'm a big Classical Music fan and have quite a collection of CDs. I got into Classical Music funnily enough through Rock. I used to be a big fan of a band called Emerson, Lake and Palmer and they did a Rock version of a classical piece called Pictures at an Exhibition, by the Ukranian composer, Mussorgsky. Well I was curious and listened to the Mussorgsky version and got hooked.

At the moment I'm listening to a CD of two works by Stravinsky - The Firebird and The Rites of Spring. Great stuff! :D

Both good choices! I love Annie Lennox singing the 'Into the West' song from the Lord of the Rings movie. :D

At any given moment, Metal. From Motley Crue to Finntroll. I have a devotion to folk metal. especially of the Finnish variety, and to the Wildhearts.

Right now I'm listening to the rock and metal podcast my husband produces once a week.

Last thing was the Lemonheads, but I haven't listened to them for ages. Usually it's James Taylor, like an old lady should do!
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
