What a lovely name. I'm sure he was adorable and would have loved to see him.

When Murph died, I made a photo-album with pictures and poems in his honour. It helped me in dealing with losing my best friend for 14 years. The album lies on the coffee table so it's like he's still with us a tiny bit. Silly, I know.

One of my sister's doggies is a Westie. He's a fun guy, but so is his big sister.

Tigger & the Westie are bloody gorgeous.

I think Bengal cats might be my favourite breed of cat.

Not silly. A friend lost his cat and was embarrassed at how much it affected him, until he realized that the (very long-lived) cat had been quite literally the longest relationship he had had in shared living space, including his parents. Also it was quite possibly the least frustrating.

Love this thread. :D Very cute pups. And Vermin, that is a gorgeous kitty!

Never thought it of like that, Tamar but beautifully put. You have a wise friend.
True, I have been married for over 10 years but knew Murph for almost 14. Wow.

What a good looking Westie, Cheery, just as the other dog in the pic. Whereas the Westie looks like he is planning some mischief, she looks like a lady :D.

Tigger looks lovely Vermin, but I can't believe he weighs almost 9 kgs. He must be huge! Our cat passed away in January this year, and was quite ill, but she never weighed more than 4 kgs. But I have only had two cats in my life, so I do not know a lot about them.
