Jan: FINALLY! What a gorgeous pic of the dogs. Awwwww. Thank you. We are nosey little creatures here who have a "need to know". Honestly! You would swear we think we have a RIGHT to see continuing pics of all "our" dogs, cats, rabbits and babies.

So, here's our Westie who is now almost 3 years old. We bought him after our dear Murphy died (may he rest in peace, the sweetheart :angelic-sunshine: ).

It took me a while to get used to having a little dog, because I grew up with Newfoundland dogs and later owned a Pyrenean Mountain Dog and Murph (an Alsatian mix, of which I shared a pic, I think). But, he is amazing. We decided to have a little dog, because we thought it would be easier and we would be able to take him with us, on holidays (we own a mobil home). And he is amazing. He is so funny and I love him to pieces. But then again; I love dogs and always have done, ever since I was little. :animals-dogrun:

One day, I was making Christmas wreaths, he jumped into this crate. Why? I have no idea. He hasn't done it ever again. Mmm, dogs eh?

Tnx Tony :D . His name is Donder (literally translated as Thunder, but in NL also meaning "dondersteen" which translates to something like 'naughty' -but in a funny way ;) ). I never would have thought that raising a little dog, could cause so much headache. Pffff. Talking about being headstrong....

Larger dogs are truly much easier to train, and I do know what I'm talking about.

Yes, they're great, aren't they Mad? I can imagine you (still) miss him a lot. Dogs (pets in general, really) never leave our hearts, do they? What was his name and do you have a pic? I'd love to see him.

He was called Danny, and I don't have any digitised pics unfortunately but he was ridiculously photogenic so I do have lots of prints stored away in boxes.
