I am watching a program "The Botany of Desire"... This documentary takes viewers on an eye-opening exploration of the human relationship with the plant world seen from a plants point of view. Based on the book by Michael POLLEN.

Wonder if his name influenced his career choice.

The orchid in our office has decided it is time to bloom.

That's certainly going to make the workplace more colourful. We have something like eight species of orchid growing wild at Cissbury Ring near where I live which I might try and photograph on one of my walks (providing that I can recognize them).

I had to look twice at your pic Mad.... its strange to see one of our common flowers show up on this thread.. its usually all cold climate flowers.

I have a full 6 foot high back fence covered in it. Three different colours though.
