The black iris was a prezzie from my mum. She knows irises are my favorite. :D

NP Penners. I needed the goad to get out and clean up the yard. Hopefully next weekend may include planting some herbs.

Con, it appears you are my Canadian counterpart in the gardening arena. What else have you got, plantwise? ;)

I can not name 90% of them. I'm just going by looks. I'll get back to you in a couple of months! :)

Wifey knows the stuff much better than I do. I do a lot of the work with her, but I don't know the names. I really don't even care what they're called, it's more about how they look for me.

Here are a few pics I took in '11,

Last week we had a rain free day and I took a couple of pictures in my garden:

Wheeeee! Spring! Whenever this week's rain begins to annoy me I look at how my plants are growing and feel happier about the weather.

Nice photos, Con. I haven't got any of those but have seen them in this area. Was just looking at the lilies in the gardening department on Sunday.

Jules, you have some lovely flowers. Especially like the bleeding hearts.

Ah, a garden thread! I would have bored everyone senseless with endless photos from my garden over spring and summer if I had found this! Sadly, everything is at that ugly stage when summer has ended but autumn is not in full swing yet, so you are all spared. For now :D

At least I can admire your beautiful Northern Hemisphere gardens in their prime from here - lovely pictures!

Oh - and is that 'ing I spy there Cheery_j ???

AuntyV..... Have you SEEN their winter pics? All white and gray and black and stuff. Now not saying that I don't have a few of the winter scenes nicked from here as my wallpapers.... but you just go out and take a few WINTER pics mate. We still have as much colour in our land in our winter as they get over there in Summer.

Have to say everyone..... I was showing some of the flower pics to a girlfriend while I was out the other day and some people behind us caught a gander at them.... almost had a CROWD! Some of the pics looked almost 3D on my phone!!!!!

GORGEOUS!

I'm loving these pics and I very much doubt that you would have been able to bore me (or anyone else here for that matter) Aunty. :D
