Hi SW.... been wondering how you are going for ages.... are the knees all well now? Do the pics mean you are getting out and about now? An update mate. Please.

Palo Verdes in Bloom (in front of Catalina Mountains
(Though you can't see it in this shot--they're called Palo Verdes because the bark, as well as the leaves, are green. When they bloom, it's breathtakingly beautiful.

Thanks for the interest and concern, guys. :) The knees are better, and so are the toes (which I'm told I was lucky not to lose in January). They're not great, and standing on tile or walking too much isn't a lot of fun. Am going to get signed up at Fit Center (tomorrow) where I can walk in water, and generally exercise and build strength and stamina.

My other big problem now is that it's April-- AND TONY ISN'T HERE! I miss him dreadfully. And he's the one with the better camera and good photos. He won't be coming until probably November--and that's a long, long, long time. :(

SW, they are lovely. I like the tree with the Catalina Mountains. It looks so beautiful and serene.

Gorgeous SW, you live in an amazing place by the look of it, and you have a talent for seeing and capturing what is around you.

There are actually about four different varieties of prickly pear in there. I'll try to get around to labelling them.

The colours of the iris and cornflowers are gorgeous. Great photos, Mad.

(I entered Stage 2 (Light Sleep) while typing this and was woken up by the phone . It's finally raining and perfect sleep-inducing weather but I'm trying to rush out a proposal)
