My very own Gooseberry (tm)!

Postby Exp. Date, the rat » Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:15 am

I know most of you wont care, but I feel like telling someone.

As some of you know I have the Barnes and Noble nook, which is an e-reader only avalible in the US. I was playing with it at work tonight and I found that I could name it. So I am sitting here listening to Night Watch and trying to think of something Discworld-ie and I thought Disorganizer, but this really isn't an organizer- so that wouldn't do. Then I though about Sam talknig to something or something talking tyo Sam and I had an "AH-HA!" moment.

The Gooseberry would be able to read to him since it has an iHumm feature to sing to Sam why wouldn't it be able to read to him.

So.....

My nook is now and forever to be know as Goosebrry(tm).

When I can I will post a piccy of it!

I also need to add that on the cover that I have on it has a Anthill Inside sticker! I'll post a piccy of it as well!

I was listening to NW, but I know Thud! by heart since I listen to it about a couple times a month at work. One of my faves!

Hey Billy,

What I have seen of both that the nook is easier to use than the Sony e-reader, and not as complicated as the kindle. I don't have to worry about internet access on the Kindle. All I want is to read books. I have my lap top and iPod touch fir internet and also phone.

The touch screen for the flipping of through book covers and the ease of shopping is great and very good selection in B&N.
