At work last night, I learned to keep my big gob shut when I have a good idea. My manager thought that it was such a good idea that he gave me the job of implementing it. I now have to go through in excess of over 1000 member's files and update and correct each one so our promotional info can be sent out correctly.

my mother was a heo b4 she retired batty i know she wouldnt have vacuumed her section in the dvla she would have been on the phone in an instant to housekeeping if her floor was cleaned properly

I learned that if you live in a rural village in winter, you have to drive 10 miles to meet just about everyone you haven't seen for ages in shops you haven't visited for ages! Took me twice as long to do my shopping but it was FUN!

I learned recently that friends can be found in the most unlikely places.
Some online folk went way out of their way to help me, travelling a couple hundred miles to take me to a place to perform a duty, then taking me back home before returning to their home.
They transported me, fed me, did most of the work for me, and wouldn't even accept petrol money!
They had never met me, I just knew them online.
