J D Salinger RIP

Im sure there's somewhere more suitable that I could of posted this but I thought that everybody should know that JD Salinger author of 1950s iconic novel The Catcher In The Rye passed away last Wednesday (27th January 2009).

swreader put this thread J.D. Salinger dies at 91 up already but it had slipped down the index page so you obviously hadn't spotted it :)
