We do have our regulars, just like any pub I suppose, but a lot of our customers are just out for a night of fun and are infrequent gamblers at best. The hardest part of the job (especially on a Friday/Saturday night) is judging whether they have had too much to drink to be allowed in. Whilst we do not have a zero tolerance policy to being tipsy, we have to assess whether the person is in full control and whether they are likely to cause trouble or offence to other customers and staff (a bit like the laws governing any pub really, although a bit stricter and more heavily audited).

In this country, we are also bound by the gamling awareness codes of conduct when it comes to addicted gamblers - something that doesn't necessarily apply to on-line gambling organisations, or Vegas for that matter.
The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.
