I could explain, but I'll let Morty try and talk his way out of this one. :lol:

I can assure you Crysania and Cheery that despite my severe madness I am still an old fashioned gentleman. I would never dream of being rude to a female member of this forum.

If you think that my remarks were in the least bit offensive then on bended knees I offer a poem that I wrote myself and some flowers I grew in my window box and arranged myself.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Thanks for the flowers Morty, but I wasn't saying you were rude or that I was angry, the whole point is : I don't know what I should be (or shouldn't be) angry about.
What does it mean? Please? :)

Oh My God why do I feel like my Dad.
Ok Crysanai here goes........

''OK Girl you've pulled'' is a term used by very rude men usually in nightclubs at the end of the evening. I have been told, obviously I know nothng of such rude things but basically it means that a man fancies a beautiful girl with whom he has no chance so he makes out that she has being trying to attract his attentions and ''OK Girl you've pulled'' is a cheap and tacky way of trying to get the young lady to allow him to escort her home.

Know I know why I got my ex wife to explain the birds and bees to my 3 daughters :lol:

I must point out that I would never be so tacky and at my age the opportunity seldom arises anyway.

The last time I was in a nightclub I was wearing winkle pickers and was dancing to Freddie and the Dreamers......

Please Crysanai don't ask me to explain that :lol: :lol: :lol:

Heavens above! MEN!!!!! :roll: *shakes head*

The female explanation Crys :lol:

'Pulling' someone is not really insulting as such, just a crude and rather impolite way of saying you've got someone's romantic attention, usually in some low dive of a bar (or dance hall/club) where physical appearance generally counts for more than conversational or intellectual skills and simply means someone wants to know you 'better'.

Not terribly sophisticated gentlemen are most likely to make this kind of approach - it helps if you've had a fair few drinks too if you're inclined to reciprocate such idle and politically incorrect behaviour or, better yet, send them packing with an equally 'witty' riposte :twisted: :lol:

"Sod off perv" usually works very effectively in my experience :twisted: :wink:
