Happy New Year.

Postby Morty » Thu Dec 31, 2009 3:24 am

I have some very good reasons for wanting to see the back of 2009 so as it has always been customary to have a New Year thread on all the forums I've ever been on I thought i'd be the first to wish everyone on the forum A Very Happy and Peaceful New Year.

The same goes from me too! :D

Unfortunately I'm going to be working at midnight tonight  and won't have too much chance to celebrate :( . I think we stop business for about five minutes to hear the bells over a dodgy radio whilst watching the customers guzzle cheap champaign.

Morty, I see from your previous posts that you've had a pretty rough time recently so I hope 2010 sees a vast improvement for you (and for everyone else). :)

Happy New Year! :D

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

I too have many reasons to be glad 2009 is over, and am hoping that 2010 brings me a better, more prosperous year and less folk on the doorstep with their hands out!

I am also hoping for a reversal of my current poor health.

So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi Penfold,

Thank you very much for your kind words and I hope you get as much enjoyment from the forum as I do.

Vena I hope that 2010 brings you better health and happiness all year long.

I have noted that there are quite a few members who are not in the best of health so can I take this opportunity to wish everyone a happier and heathier new year.

In the few weeks I've been a member of this forum I have made lots of friends and the camaraderie never fails to amaze me. I have had a lot of PM's from people wishing me well and offering support. I am pleased to say that some of my internet friends are now friends in the real world as well.

I would have spent a lot of lonely hours if I'd not stumbled on this forum and although I can hear the groans echoing around the boards I intend to remain a member of this forum for as long as its around.

Here's to:-

A Very Healthy New Year.
