Going Postal is coming to sky

Hey Tiffy here, am not sure if this has already been posted or not but! last night while reading the sky mag i saw a page for Going Postal not much has been send about it, but its coming out next year theres no set date.

Richard Coyle will be playing Moist

Charles Dance will be playing Lord Vetinari

Ekk cant wait =D oh and hogfather is playing again at Xmas! :D

Yes indeed. A bunch of fans went over to Hungary to be extras in the film. :D :wink:

Wish they'd show it around xmas time, i think it'l be shown at easter atleast thats what i heard... but most people dont like the person who plays Vetinari

Guess we'll just have to wait and see

Charles Dance will be a good Vetinari I think - he does a very urbane and sinister 'baddie' type (he was pretty scary and the only good thing in Last Action Hero). He's better known for the hero slot I suppose and as he has fair hair this is possibly why he's not seen as 'heavyweight' enough by some people I suspect.

I havnt really heard of Charlse Dance so i cant judge and i wouldnt anyways. Just gotta wait for the film/tv and then see =P..... But the guy who plays moist said the gold suit was really heavy xD nice to see they kept that just afaird of what they'll take outta the film that should be there :?

I understand that quite a lot has changed from book to film. From what the fan extras have said about the scenes they were in some quite big changes have been made. They still said that they thought it would be very good.

Ye i cant wait to watch it =D hope they carry on making the books into film/tvs shows its nice to see how they turn out

I think they will do Making money seeing as it goes along with Going Postal if i remeber right hmm

Sorcery was a great book bit short tho.

Wait a minute! Have they officially stated which books they have chosen fot the 4th and 5th film? :o

I have only read somewhere that SKY gave the green light to two more Discworld movies. And I really hoped they would do one with the Witches. Or at least Tiffany...

So let's hope it's unofficial or they change their minds... :roll:
