Current and always vehicles:

1941 Mercury 5W Coupe.
Been in the family since March '41 when my father bought it.

'84 Chev S-10 truck, 40,800 miles.
Again, in the family since new.

1969 Dodge Travco
I am the 2d owner.
No one ever knows what a Travco is, so:
http://www.google.com/search?q=Dodge+Tr ... =firefox-a

'85 Honda 250 Rebel, so far from stock.
Light enough my old knees can hold hills.

Lesser vehicles come and go.

Currently it's a miner's cart like the one in Temple of Doom ;)
But when I'm outside in the sunshine (well, more sunshiney than undergound anyway) then it's a Toyota Avensis saloon.
It's got comfy seats (Cohen would appreciate) and big boot for transporting golems.

My next one will be... Well, I don't know as cars seem to be accidental these days. I wasn't planning this one to be honest. Our previous one (P 207) got stolen and we needed a set of wheels. I was looking at Focuses and Mazda 3's and then bought an enormous (for a former Pug owner) Avensis instead. I would love to get Audi A4 thou. Or the Allroad. Or the Volvo Cross Country. Or at least new Honda Civic :)

And for the dream ones at this moment it'll be Audi R8 (but maybe not one of those that burst in flames...), Mercedes SLR and the new Fiat 500 in red. With cream leather inside. Could use it down the mine :)
Duvvelsheyss!

Say it ain't so, Batty.

I used to drive limo on the weekends. Some tips:
Limousines are not soundproof.
Do not annoy your driver --all the power controls for the rear are in the front. Yes, that does mean that if your music aggravates me, I will (and have) shut it off.
Don't ever pick up the dumb little phone and say "driver..." in a whiny voice.
It's in movies, it's in music videos. I DON'T CARE! Keep your head IN the car.
Stop asking the driver (me, in this case) to go through the drive-thru to impress your friends on the french-frier. I cannot wrap a 30-foot long vehicle around a building smaller than my closet.

But, shank's pony never breaks down or uses oil.

Past: '98 Dodge Ram Quad cab 4x4 Pickup Truck with full size bed, and dual stainless steel pipes coming out of the catalytic converter, 360 hemi. It was in Deep Amethyst, a deep purple and blue metallic chip paint job, and beautiful. 4 years ago, I lent it to my youngest son on New Year's Eve, because I kept having a premonition that he would have an accident and die. Well, he had the accident and wrecked the front clip (basically engine compartment and fenders and bumper) the Engine still runs, but alas, and alack of cash means I shall be selling it as soon as I "Find" the damn title. It was beautiful and cost as much as a small house, but, I worked for a ridiculous amount of money fixing robots, so I deserved it. :sigh:

Current: '95 Oldmobile Silouette Minivan :sigh:

Future: After I win the lottery, I would buy another Dodge Ram Quad cab 4x4 Pickup truck with a 6 ft bed, in Deep Amethyst, with the same set up. AND an electric car for those little trips to Byron (5 miles) 8)
Aha! So, Bob's yer uncle... very clever.
