She broke the law and someone died as a result... It doesn't seem too harsh for a prison sentence to be involved personally. The only thing I would query is that the article says she was being sent to a high-security prison and I can't really see that that's necessary, it wasn't a violent crime and she doesn't pose much of a risk to others (while she isn't behind the wheel at least).
