Words are the litmus paper of the mind. If you find yourself in the power of someone who will use the word "commence" in cold blood, go somewhere else very quickly. But if they say "Enter", don’t stop to pack.

Horse Mythology - Sleipnir is not alone.

[based on Norse Mythology, a title used by many but most recently by Neil Gaiman]

The Fellowship of the Thing. A bunch of people club together to remember Baldrick's thingy-that-is-shaped-like-a-turnip. :P

Lord of the Rings: The Two Flowers. Middle Earth gets its first tourist.

Lard of the Ring. Sauron buys out McDonald's and opens a huuuuuuuge chain of the golden arches throughout Middle-Earth. Soon, everyone is overweight and incapable of resisting his eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil! Moo-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaa!

 I'm sorry, I just find that phrase - "adventures among the bigjobs" - very amusing for some reason. Not sure why. :)

The Sobbit - Rob Anybody is accompanied by Daft Wullie, who never ceases to sob his "Waily, waily, waily".

Grief by Niggle The sociological devastation caused by pettifogging bureaucrats is relieved by an arts and gardening program.

Be A Wolf! A pamphlet written by Angua's brother Wolfgang to aid recruitment. Mainly consisted of "either-you're-with-us-or-you're-against-us"-type diatribe. Did not sell too well in Uberwald, even among the werewolves.

(parody of Beowulf, obviously. ;)

I read Leaf by Niggle not long ago, actually. An interesting story, and far removed from the much-better-known Hobbit and LOTR).

Hassle in the Air - An overbearing CEO wants to control every detail of the lives of the stewards and stewardesses on an airline. Revolt happens.

(based very loosely on Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones)

Grime and Punishment - after his rickety student apartment is cleaned badly one too many times, Raskolnikov murders the cleaner. In his defence, he claimed that it was the cleaner's inadequate performance that pushed him to commit murder. The judge disagrees.

(parody of "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, obviously)
