Big favor please!

Post by Catch-up » Sun Mar 19, 2017 11:01 pm

A friend of the family, Dolly, is in her 90's and up until recently has been living very independently in a retirement community. She's recently come to the conclusion that she needs more help. But, moving into the assisted portion of the community means that she had to give up her lovely apartment for a much smaller one. She's putting on a brave face, but we know that she's feeling pretty sad about this. We plan on sending her a bunch of cards, and I know she would get an enormous kick out of it if she got some cards from other parts of the world. She's a retired teacher, loves art and loved to travel. If you would be willing to send her a card, please send me a PM and I'll give you her address. Thank you!!

You guys are so wonderful! This is going to cheer her up so much!

The girls and I spent some time doing several cards, and the girls did some drawings. I'm dropping them in the mail one each day so that she has a steady stream of cards coming in.

Sister J, I'll send you a PM!

Yes, I sent a response a few hours ago, but it's still in my outbox. Check your messages and if you don't see it there, let me know!

Thank you! :D

Got it. Going to look for a pic of the Major Oak, can tell her a little bit about Robin Hood.
